Kiwa PI Berlin was founded in Berlin in 2006, has a permanent subsidiary located in Bilbao since 2019 and became part of the Kiwa Group in 2022.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of Converters and Storage, he/she will be responsible for managing projects, specifically:
- Evaluate technical offers of the providers and rank them according to technical and bankability criteria
- Technical negotiation of purchase agreements on behalf of the Buyer
- Carry out technological advice on components
- Define the technical quality requirements that are included in the EPC contracts for the selection of the main components,



plant design, installation and start‑up of plants.
- Supervise of the manufacturing process in China or wherever the factory is located
- Manage quality assurance projects during manufacturing of BESS, inverters and transformer components in collaboration with our Chinese team based in Shanghai
- Conduct on site supervision activities during the construction and commissioning phase
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis on faulty components during operation
- Manage factory audits related to ESG and traceability aspects
- Review of the technical design of BESS units
- Provide support to the commercial area during the sales process

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the renewable industry in contact with components such as: inverters, transformers, BESS…
- Strong knowledge in the area of BESS (manufacturing process, reliability tests, regulations, ability to technically negotiate
