Taylor Hopkinson is supporting the recruitment process on behalf of a fast-growing international company operating in the renewable energy sector. The organization develops, invests in, and manages clean energy infrastructure projects across multiple European markets, with a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and long-term value creation. As the business continues to expand, the Finance team is looking for a Financial accountant to support accounting operations and ensure compliance with Italian tax and financial regulations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage daily accounting transactions in accordance with Italian accounting standards and internal policies.- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.- Monitor and assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely reconciliation and issue resolution.- Prepare and coordinate indirect and direct tax compliance activities, including VAT returns, withholding tax obligations, and statutory filings.- Liaise with external accountants, tax consultants,



and auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.- Provide support during tax inspections and statutory audits by gathering and organising the required documentation.- Assist with intercompany accounting activities and contribute to transfer pricing documentation where required.- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure financial documentation is properly archived.- Monitor changes in tax legislation and support the implementation of regulatory updates.- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and improve operational efficiency.- Act as a reliable point of contact for finance-related queries from internal departments.REQUIREMENTS- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in accounting, tax, or corporate finance.- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.- Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.- Fluent English, both written and spoken.#J-18808-Ljbffr
