This is an exciting opportunity to work as Cybersecurity Engineer on the Galileo project, the European space flagship programme.Galileo is Europe's Integral Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), funded and owned by the EU, providing accurate positioning and timing information.CETRA BASE is currently looking for versatile Engineers to be part of our Galileo Engineering team.The position is based in Madrid.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesMonitoring and identification of cybersecurity vulnerabilitiesAnalysis and prioritisation of vulnerabilities and security risksDeployment and verification of security patches and updatesAnalysis of security events and support to incident investigationsMaintenance of vulnerability tracking databases and recordsContribution to cybersecurity reporting and KPI monitoringMaintainance of security documentation and accreditationSupport to audit activitiesEssential qualifications and experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science,
Telecommunications Engineering or similarMinimun 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in operational or service-oriented environmentsExperience in maintaining technical documentationProficiency level in English, both written and spokenDemonstrated experience in some of the following:Security monitoring and vulnerability managementSecurity accreditation or certification activitiesLinux and Windows operating systemsVirtualization platforms and container technologiesMonitoring and security analysis toolsTicketing systems and incident tracking toolsExperience in Space programmes.SecurityIn line with security requirements of the Galileo mission the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.The successful candidate will be offered a permanent contract and a very competitive salary package, according to his/her skills and experience.
