You’ll be joining over 200 engineers across software development, infrastructure, operations and security. Fueled by curiosity, experimentation and collaboration, you’ll help deliver scalable, impactful solutions that shape the future of insurance.What You’ll DoArchitect and Develop Reusable Code: All descriptions emphasize developing reusable code, promoting code modularity, and ensuring maintainability.Design, Develop, and Maintain Services: Design, develop, and maintain services with a focus on consistency, scalability, and adherence to industry best llaboration with Stakeholders: Close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and effective backend or software de Reviews and Coding Standards: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards to maintain quality and consistency.Staying Up-to-date with Technology: Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, tools, and frameworks, and drive their adoption when llaboration with Managers: Collaborate with product and engineering managers to define project timelines, estimate effort, and ensure successful delivery.Troubleshooting and Debugging:



Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and timely resolution (backend-focused).Fostering Continuous Learning and Growth: Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.What We’re Looking ForExtensive experience in backend developmentStrong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsGood knowledge of event-driven architecture, microservices, and domain-driven designEnthusiasm for trying new technologies and helping other developers growSelf-motivated, proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and accountability for deliverablesExperience working in an Agile environmentNice-to-HaveGood knowledge of functional programming languagesProfessional experience with at least one of Rust or ElixirKnowledge of TDDKnowledge of Rabbit MQ/KafkaWhy You’ll Love It HereWe want to make Prima a happy and empowering place to work.
