Here, you’ll be a creative force, shaping products that empower people across the globe.The RoleAs a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server‑side components of our applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other cross‑functional teams to deliver robust and scalable backend services that power critical features and support rapid growth.This is a fully onsite position, based in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. We are open to support with relocation efforts.ResponsibilitiesAPI & Service Architecture – Design and build RESTful or Graph QL APIs, microservices, and business logic using Node.Js and Type Script.Database Design & Integration – Model data and manage queries using Supabase and Postgre SQL, including functions, row‑level security, and real‑time features.Cloud Infrastructure – Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Pub/de Quality & Testing – Write clean, testable code using unit, integration,



and end‑to‑end testing frameworks (e.G., Jest). Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance practices.Security & Reliability – Implement secure‑by‑default solutions for authentication, authorization, and data protection, following Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.Monitoring & Operations – Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting for backend services.
