Accountant

to join our team in Spain and take responsibility for the accounting operations of our Spanish entity.Reporting to the

Group Finance Manager

and working closely with our headquarters in the Netherlands, you'll ensure accurate accounting, tax compliance and timely Group reporting.About Us

Manage the full accounting cycle.Record purchase invoices, sales invoices and operating expenses.Maintain customer and supplier accounts.Perform bank and payment provider reconciliations (PayPal, Klarna, Stripe, Adyen, etc.).Prepare month-end and year-end closings.Prepare VAT returns, Intrastat declarations and support Corporate Income Tax filings.Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.Support treasury activities,



including supplier payments and customer collections.Prepare documentation for Group reporting and external audits.Lead and develop the Administration Department team.What We're Looking For

Required

Degree or vocational qualification in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.At least

3 years of experience

in general accounting role.Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards and VAT regulations.Experience with month-end and year-end closings.Fluent English ( C1 or above ).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.Nice to Have

Experience in an international company.Experience with ERP’s.Experience in eCommerce, retail or distribution accounting.Experience supporting external audits.Why Join Us?
