The Challenge
As a Performance Energy Engineer, you will identify building optimization opportunities and develop innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption, operational costs, and maintenance expenses while meeting customer requirements and financial objectives. You'll work with advanced building analytics, energy audits, technical solution design, baseline development, cost calculations, and measurement & verification concepts. This position can be based anywhere in Spain and requires occasional travel across the country.
Your responsibilities
Conducts building data analytics remote audits, analyze current situation and produces facility improvement measures plans.
Engage with the people in the various industry and building, understand the challenges, the energy usage and patterns, how the plant is operated and controlled, how the plant is providing and using energy within the industry/building, compare the design to what is being used (e.g. as to identify changes in operation) and upon delivering a performance reports, to identify facility energy/maintenance optimization measures. Assists sales in identification and qualification of potential digital services contracts. Full ownership of optimization process; from discovery to service delivery including energy audits, cost calculations, design and specifications and measurement and verification. Close interaction and cooperation with the Siemens European Digital Delivery Center. Ensure service development process including internal stakeholder management. Active monitoring for new trends and solutions in the market to enhance the offerings.
