We are looking for an experienced and passionate firmware engineer with a hands-on and problem-solving mindset to join us at our office in Barcelona. You will work on solving real challenges in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, controls, and higher-level software engineers to build reliable, observable, and debuggable robotics systems.
You will operate at the boundary between hardware and software, with a strong electrical engineering mindset, helping to architect the future of robotics through best-in-class, modern software engineering practices.
It is not a management position, and we're looking for someone who thrives working autonomously and taking end-to-end technical ownership, while collaborating closely with the wider hardware and software teams.
Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware for real-time systems: control, sensing,



and system monitoring
Own the full firmware lifecycle: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Debug complex system-level issues where the root cause may span software, firmware, hardware, or component behavior
Use hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and DMMs to diagnose timing, signaling, and electrical issues
Act as the technical bridge between hardware and software, collaborating closely with EEs, controls, motion planning, and systems engineers
Control systems, including power Stages and Motor control, embedded communications, system health monitoring/logging, and hardware bring-up.

Have a BSc in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent (MSc preferred)
