Deep Digital are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with a proven track record in successfully implementing, optimizing, and maintaining the data integration and historian systems.
This role involves advanced technical responsibilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of data integration and historian systems. The adecuado candidate will possess in‑depth knowledge of industrial processes, data historian best practices, and a strong ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities

- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data historian solutions.
- Lead efforts to integrate historian systems with various control systems and third‑party applications.
- Conduct performance analysis and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Design and configure complex data tags to meet specific project requirements.
- Develop custom interfaces and connectors to enhance data integration capabilities.
- Develop and implement advanced security measures to protect historical data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, taking a lead role in audits and assessments.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues related to data collection, storage, and retrieval.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Comply with Deep Digital's Quality Management System requirements by performing work according to process documents and procedures, and maintaining document information, completing department forms/records as required.
