Role Summary: The Application Engineer is a technically and commercially experienced salesperson responsible for technical solutions for customers and partners in industrial and specialty applications.
Will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.
Your role:
- Technical and commercial preparation of offers in the field of industrial pumps and rotating equipment.
- Support of the defined clientele in the office
- Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
- Cost calculation, if necessary, in cooperation with the relevant departments
- Order acceptance, review, and preparation
Your profile:
- BSC degree in Engineering
- Ideally 2 years of experience as an Application Engineer or similar position such as Sales representative, Engineer in a manufacturing company
- Working proficiency in English
- Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications
- Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking
Preferred experience/skills:
- SAP knowledge
- Experience with heavy industry
