Responsibilities
Tool and Equipment Development

- Develop, prototype, and improve tools, fixtures, and support equipment for coating application processes, with focus on automated and semi‑automated solutions.
- Support design for manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, and safe operation in industrial coating environments.

Automation and System Integration

- Contribute to development of automated coating application concepts by integrating mechanical components, electronics, sensors, actuators, and control elements.
- Participate in testing,



troubleshooting, and optimization of tool performance in laboratory, workshop, and field environments.
- Support selection and validation of components and suppliers for tool development projects.

Project Execution and Documentation

- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, test plans, and development documentation for new tools and modifications.
- Coordinate with application specialists, coating advisors, R&D; colleagues, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and practical implementation of solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of application methods, reliability, and repeatability in automated coating processes.
