What You Will Do

- Lead the development and refinement of global strategic plans, collaborating with key stakeholders across functions and regions to translate corporate Cell Tx vision into actionable strategies, milestones, and initiatives worldwide.
- Drive alignment of strategic priorities across functions and geographies to ensure coherence, proper resource allocation, and maximize synergies while minimizing redundancies.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Therapeutic Area (TA) Heads, DRS leadership, and other key players within the AZ Cell Tx environment.
- Drive organizational change initiatives to support implementation of strategic priorities within the Cell Tx platform.




- Develop and manage change‑management strategies across DRS to communicate, implement, and manage adoption for successful execution.
- Maintain an entrepreneurial mindset, routinely predicting, identifying, generating, and evaluating alternatives to barriers in the business to keep the portfolio progressing to plan.
- Drive fiscal prudence while balancing operational effectiveness by pressure‑testing study budgets, minimizing spend, and crafting cost‑saving strategies, while building internal knowledge on clinical‑trial delivery.
- Lead cross‑functional and general business‑excellence initiatives to streamline or develop processes, speed execution, and remove barriers across DRS.
- Ensure all approaches comply with legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Need to Have
