As Project Director Cost Management in Madrid, you lead cost management professionals and multidisciplinary teams to deliver value-driven cost solutions for data centre projects. You’ll shape client strategies, drive cost reporting and controls, and mentor a growing team to achieve high-quality outcomes. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership across pre- and post-contract work, delivering impact for clients and the firm. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to sustain growth in a integral, client-centric business.

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams including clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
• Serve as the day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met via value-added cost management services
• Facilitate structured communication and documentation across stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships to ensure alignment and successful outcomes




• Line-manage and develop cost managers and team members
• Guide team through performance reviews, integrity standards, and growth
• Develop cost benchmarks and KPIs to support project strategy
• Establish robust cost reporting structures and control mechanisms
• Act as Commission Manager for end-to-end service delivery on large or multiple commissions
• Manage estimating and cost planning and present final cost plans
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to clients
• Lead value engineering and life cycle costing exercises
• Implement cost controls across project schedule, cost, risk, and change management
• Monitor budgets and financial performance with the team
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract administration with clients
• Oversee invoicing processes using D-365 and coordinate with finance for timely submissions
• Support business development with opportunity ident
