Job OverviewThe selected candidate will join our Air Power Services team, specialising in Capability Assurance to ensure the TMA fleet remains technologically advanced, operationally unstoppable, and future‑ready. As a Strategic Fleet Resilience Engineer, you will be the architect of our fleet's survival and evolution, turning potential technical crises into competitive and financial advantages.
Responsibilities
- Own, map, and analyse the obsolescence landscape across the fleet, building predictive defences that keep our aircraft flying.
- Act as the bridge between technical reality and executive decision‑making, translating complex technical risks into high‑level, high‑impact investment strategies.
- Serve as the ultimate line of defence against AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events, directly ensuring our operational availability remains unmatched.
- Design modern, forward‑thinking lifecycle roadmaps that balance cutting‑edge technological upgrades with smart capital investment.
Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years in engineering or customer services (e.g., AMTAC) with a deep understanding of MRTT and LTA/M & L platforms.
- Languages: Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Forward‑thinking planner – capable of converting high‑level risks into structured, actionable, prioritised project roadmaps.
- High‑level communicator – able to discuss technical specifications with engineers and ROI with executives in the same conversation.
