We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Malaga, Spain in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will design, automate and operate enterprise‑scale cloud platforms that support mission‑critical trading systems for a integral hedge fund. You will leverage your expertise in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD to drive platform modernization, improve engineering productivity and ensure operational resilience for highly regulated financial environments.

Responsibilities

- Architect, implement and manage cloud‑native platforms on Azure and/or AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks using tools like GitLab




- Deploy and optimize Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration systems
- Develop infrastructure‑as‑code templates (Terraform or similar) for resource management
- Establish operational observability practices, including monitoring, logging and alerting
- Identify performance bottlenecks and lead root‑cause analysis for critical incidents
- Create and integrate automation tools to improve developer productivity and release velocity
- Ensure security, compliance and high availability across multi‑cloud environments
- Partner with development teams to design and deliver deployment strategies
- Contribute to platform reliability engineering and disaster recovery testing

Requirements

- 15+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering
- 7+ years in public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS)
- Proven experience supporting busin
