About the Role
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Individual contributor/No management) to join our Cyber Security Products (CSP) – Data Protection Team in Spain. The portfolio is world‑leading in enterprise and banking security, covering core data protection to secure access at the edge of the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover, develop, manage and grow strategic accounts, new logo customers, industries and territories.
- Identify, qualify and quantify all opportunities within assigned accounts and/or territory.
- Develop, manage and execute medium and long‑term go‑to‑market strategies and business plans.
- Present Thales CSP solutions at customer meetings and marketing events.
- Build relationships with top management (MD, VP, CxO level).
- Enable partner community to sell Thales Cloud Protection Licensing (CSP) solutions.
- Provide accurate and reliable weekly forecast to management.
- Collaborate closely with Presales Engineers, Product Marketing and peer sales teams.
- Maintain an accurate record of all sales opportunities throughout the sales process using the CRM system (SFDC).
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Experience
- 7+ years of sales experience in IT industries, enterprise software companies, with at least 3 years in major account sales and at the regional level in IT security.
- Channel sales experience in developing and implementing channel strategies.
- Experience working with system integrators, service providers, large resellers, and network industry professionals in security.
Education
- Bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) or higher.
Skills
- Capable of closing complex deals from opportunity discovery to contract completion.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage at all levels of partner organizations.
