Opportunity for a Material Solution and IP Engineer within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

Mission of the Department

Research and analyse spares planning and logistics data and convert findings into profitable contracts for Initial Provisioning, Customized Spares Logistics and Customized Lead-Time. Develop proposals for improvement of customers' processes and supply chain.

Responsibilities
- Define and optimise Initial Provisioning (IPL) and Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL), calculate and consolidate the cost base, create respectively the Bidding Dossiers.
- Optimise/improve the available Material Data and prepare the documentation for the materials solution definition.
- Participate in Eurodrone suppliers selection, analysing material services part and contribution.
- Develop, through the technical knowledge of the A/C configuration systems, the necessary capabilities to create customised spare parts lists, according to the customers' and ADS's requirements.




- Represent ADS in front of the customer at Initial Provisioning.
- Generate all the documentation that supports the Material Solution.
- Align all Materiel Services aspects with its performance and functions within Airbus, partner companies, suppliers and nations.
- Generate and continuously optimise integrated, complete and accurate data and assumptions to be used for Spares Modelling.

Skills
- Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline
- Experience: 2–5 years in MRO, design or manufacturing
- Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode
- Languages: Advanced level in English
- Technical knowledge: Aircraft maintenance and technical manuals, Microsoft Excel
- Nice to have: Experience in spares dimension tools and knowledge of ADS products
