The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is currently recruiting permanent plumbers to work within our prisons near you across Scotland.
The plumber will support the Estates Management team in all aspects of Estates work to provide a comprehensive repairs and maintenance service for all mechanical systems and plant, for example plumbing, BEMS, heating and ventilation systems.
There will be a requirement for you to periodically work on call hours, and you may need to travel to other establishments and areas. For this reason, a full driving licence that enables the person to drive in the UK is preferred. SPS is willing to consider proposals put forward by applicants to carry out the duties by any other means.
All of our plumber roles are based on 35 hours per week worked across Monday to Friday and we provide all tools and PPE.
Current Annual Pay Package of up to 37,878 + On Call Allowance* for full time 35 hours per week.
