In this role you will own the group’s indirect tax agenda across multiple jurisdictions, partnering with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure compliant registrations, returns, and structuring. You will also act as a technical accounting and audit resource, aligning device accounting with IFRS and tax treatment. The position supports month-end close, control governance, and cross-functional initiatives as the business scales. A strong candidate thrives in a fast-growing digital health environment and can translate complex tax into actionable business steps.

• Own the VAT, GST and US sales u0026 use tax agenda across all entities; manage risk, registrations, returns and structuring, collaborating with external advisors
• Lead German VAT registration and related device-term redesign in coordination with Legal and Commercial
• Operationalise US tax framework with contract-level exemptions and state-level tracking, coordinating with US tax team and Deloitte
• Support China VAT topics and monthly returns with Deloitte China
• Oversee recurring compliance: Swiss and EU VAT returns, e-invoicing readiness, and VAT reclaim service via SAP–Concur
• Manage indirect tax in intercompany transactions and tie-ins with transfer pricing
• Provide audit-technical input across statutory audits and defend complex accounting positions
• Ensure device accounting aligns IFRS 15/IAS 16/IAS 2 with VAT/direct tax treatment
• Contribute to month-end close, reconciliations, and master-data integrity; support broader accounting as the function grows
• Embed tax processes within the Financial Controls Framework and SOX, maintaining local SOPs and audit readiness
