Current Opportunity
We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop a greenfield, event‑driven Player Account Management platform. You will implement core platform services—identity management, transactional flows, data consistency—design and utilise high‑performance APIs, and engage hands‑on with the entire stack from backend services and database migration to observability, testing and back‑office tools.
You will collaborate daily with a Senior Engineer, the Head of Engineering, and a Platform/DevOps Engineer on architecture, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and operational excellence.
Modern AI tools will be leveraged to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Implement core platform services such as identity management, transactional flows and data consistency guarantees within a new event‑driven architecture, collaborating closely with senior engineers.
- Design event‑driven asynchronous flows that ensure strong guarantees of idempotency, consistency and auditability by following patterns developed with senior engineers.
- Create high‑performance, low‑latency APIs adhering to contract‑first and RESTful principles, while utilising agreed‑upon versioning strategies.
- Write safe, backwards‑compatible database migrations using tools like Flyway or Liquibase, with reviews conducted by senior engineers.
- Integrate Keycloak for authentication and authorisation based on established configurations.
