What we look for?

We are looking for a Mid-Senior Java Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects for one of our clients in the banking sector.

Location: Hybrid in Madrid (3x2)
- Design, develop and maintain IT services, including integration with other systems and infrastructure
- Develop solutions on the Java technology stack, with integration of business rule services
- Implement and maintain interfaces using REST web services
- Integrate and develop using the Actico Platform and Visual Rules (Actico Rules)
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including operation and maintenance of IT services




- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Extensive experience in Java system engineering and development
- Hands‑on experience integrating REST web service technologies and using Eclipse for development and debugging
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. "Git"), Oracle databases and SQL
- Beneficial: Business Rule Management (modelling, management, and implementation); certifications in Visual Rules / Actico Rules are a plus
- Strong communication skills, reliable and a collaborative team player
- Proactive, committed, and a sense of ownership
- Ability to analyse complex problems and focus on end-to-end solutions and client needs
