Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, within the Housekeeping Department, the Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee supports the supervisory team while gaining comprehensive knowledge of housekeeping operations, quality standards,



and people management. This role is designed to prepare the trainee for a future supervisory position within the department. The Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee reports to the Housekeeping Manager / Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

As Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Support the supervision of daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Mandarin Oriental cleanliness and quality standards.
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring the work of Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and other housekeeping colleagues.
- Participate in daily briefings to understand room status, arrivals, VIPs, and special guest requests.
- Learn to inspect guest rooms and public areas, ensuring compliance with brand standards and identifying maintenance or cleanliness issues.
