We are seeking an experienced FAT Witness / Inspection Engineer to support upcoming Factory Acceptance Tests for manual valves at a vendor facility in Tarragona, Spain.

The assignment is expected to commence within approximately two weeks, subject to confirmation of the vendor’s final test programme. The selected inspector will act as the Client/Contractor representative during the FAT and will be responsible for verifying compliance with approved technical documentation, specifications, applicable standards and contractual requirements.

Work Arrangement: On-site FAT attendance, with document review and reporting as required

Availability: Immediate or short-notice availability preferred





Preference will be given to inspectors already based in Spain or able to mobilize rapidly to Tarragona.

Key Responsibilities
- Review FAT documentation before the inspection, including Inspection and Test Plans, datasheets, approved drawings, specifications and relevant procedures.
- Attend the Factory Acceptance Test at the vendor’s premises as the Client/Contractor representative.
- Witness and verify visual inspections of manual valves.
- Verify valve dimensions against approved drawings and datasheets.
- Witness pressure, hydrostatic, pneumatic and leakage tests, as applicable.
- Verify the functional operation and mechanical performance of the valves.
- Confirm that test equipment is calibrated and supported by valid calibration certificates.
- Verify compliance with approved project specifications, quality requirements and applicable industry standards.
