An opportunity for a Buyer in Composites Procurement at Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid).

Responsibilities
- You will develop end-to-end business solutions directly influencing Airbus cost & EBIT contribution, looking at the big picture for your perimeter.
- You will collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders worldwide to accelerate innovations, bringing value and differentiation to our customers.
- You will be at the heart of the development of new technologies and products for future and existing aircraft.

Accountabilities
- Support the management of contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products.
- Enforce compliance between contract terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus.
- Manage alignment across different Company functions (mainly Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering) for purchased products.
- Ensure professional and trusting supplier relationship management with major aeronautical industry players, upholding the Company ethics and compliance standards.




- Ensure implementation of the Composite Materials MFT strategy for future programs and enforce compliance to the terms of development agreements with suppliers and partners.
- Manage and participate in strategic projects linked to the implementation of the Composite Materials MFT strategy for future programs as required.

Qualifications
- Degree level education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- High level of motivation to lead complex projects.
- English – negotiation level.
- Spanish – fluent.
