How You’ll Make An Impact
- Design MV/LV transformer stations (10-36 kV / 0.4-1 kV), preparing single line diagrams, protection schemes, and cable layouts.
- Specify key components like power transformers, MV switchgear (AIS/GIS/RMU), and LV switchboards, performing load flow, short-circuit, and voltage drop calculations.
- Optimize layouts for footprint, cooling, accessibility, and safety, integrating enclosures, cable entry systems, and fire protection.
- Ensure compliance with IEC standards, local grid codes, and support certification and type testing.
- You collaborate with sales, project management, and suppliers, reviewing drawings, technical submittals, and providing technical clarifications.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-7+ years of experience in MV distribution systems and transformer stations, ideally with utilities, OEMs, or EPC contractors.
- Proficient with AutoCAD/EPLAN and electrical calculation tools like ETAP or DIgSILENT.
- You have a structured, detail-oriented approach,



strong problem-solving skills, and enjoy working cross-functionally with sales, production, and project teams.
- Experience with prefabricated substations, data center or industrial power distribution is a strong advantage.
- Profficient in written and spoken English and Italian is mandatory
