AWS is investing €33.7 billion in Aragón, Spain — one of the largest infrastructure investments in the region's history. This is a senior leadership role where you'll own safety, security, availability, scaling, costs, and efficiency across a 24/7 operation. You'll lead the team responsible for installing, maintaining, and decommissioning network and server equipment — but your primary focus is people. Previous data center experience is not required. Build, lead, and develop a team of Data Center Managers and 100+ associates. Strategic Vision: Define and execute the operational strategy for the Aragón region, aligning with AWS global standards while adapting to local growth demands.
Scaling & Expansion: Plan and execute the operations component of new data center build-outs as the region grows, ensuring readiness from day one.

Work across AWS teams to share best practices globally and ensure the region benefits from — and contributes to — operational excellence worldwide.

Speak, write, and read fluently in English
Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, or asset management
Experience in data center engineering or operations
Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
