We are looking for an Underwriter Liability (m/f), based in Madrid
With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.
Steer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Liability to drive the achievement of financial targets.
Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end to end underwriting life cycle.
Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
Communicate local business strategy externally.
Ideally, experienced in PI / D&O; / Cyber Risks / Legal Expenses as well as in Multinational Clients/Programs.
Sound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills.
Ideally, experience in driving underwriting projects.
Data analytics skills.




Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
Very good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools, with a willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization.
