As a Technical Data Engineer entirely dedicated to the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), you are the 'Guardian of Safety' . Because the IPC is a key manual for identifying spare parts , you bridge the gap between complex engineering design and the mechanic on the tarmac, ensuring that every component is perfectly configured, identifiable, and safe to install before a rotor turns .
The Mission To act as the vital interface between the Design Office and the Customer for the new H140 platform, analyzing engineering data and drawings to select spare parts and precisely manage their configuration within the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) .
Core Execution:* Execute Trigger (ECP/CR/MITB/TN/SB/ASB) analysis and incorporation, developing the necessary capabilities to create customized spare parts lists according to Customer and Airbus requirements .
* *Tech Spec:* Perform impact analysis, authoring, and verification/validation of the IPC (parts catalogue) in compliance with ATA specifications and civil regulations to manage completeness and compliance to airworthiness .
* *Customer Support:* Resolve blocking points and answer complex customer queries regarding IPC documentation issues or misunderstandings, ensuring swift problem-solving during Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations .
* *Success Metric:* Ensure quality, consistency, completeness, and on-time delivery of IPC deliverables related to designated workshares , targeting 0 critical errors over the first 6 months.
* *Challenge (Digital Continuity & Operational Excellence):* In the frame of Tech Data harmonization, identify gaps in the workflow between engineering processes and the IPC, and systematically propose robust recoveries .
Education:* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical/Industrial Engineering or an equivalent technical field .
* *Tech Stack:* Mastery of SAP and Windchill for pure spare parts configuration control . Expertise in PTC Isodraw, Arbortext, CATIA, A-TOOL, BFlow, and ICN Toolbox .
