Internship Opportunity – Tourism, Events, Leisure & Art
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Start date: September 2026
Duration: 4–6 months preferred
Working hours: 39 hours/week
Compensation: €450–€500/month, depending on qualifications and studies
About the Internship
We are looking for a reliable, open-minded and communicative intern to join our international team in Barcelona.
The internship combines tourism, event management, leisure activities, art and culture, all connected to the traditional Catalan mosaic technique Trencadís, famously used by Antoni Gaudí.
Depending on your interests and area of study, your tasks may include:
Tourism & Event Management
- Supporting the preparation and organization of corporate events, private groups and school activities.
- Assisting with events for both national and international clients.
- Helping organize activities at our workshop and at iconic locations, such as Torre Bellesguard, as well as other unique venues in Barcelona.
- Supporting the team during events and ensuring that activities run smoothly.
Leisure Services
- Supporting and leading mosaic workshops for international and national visitors, students, families and children.
- Welcoming participants and explaining the different stages of the workshop.
- Helping create a friendly and engaging experience for our guests.
Art & Culture
- Learning and practicing the Trencadís mosaic technique inspired by Antoni Gaudí.
- Learning traditional mosaic-making techniques.
- Creating decorative mosaic objects and souvenirs for sale.
- Supporting the preparation and production of workshop materials.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, responsible and proactive.
- Is open-minded and enjoys working in an international, multicultural environment.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Has a high level of English (B2–C1).
- Has basic knowledge of Spanish. Spanish skills are welcome but not essential.
- Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
