What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in core banking (Temenos T24/Transact), focused on designing and documenting high-quality, automation-ready test cases (Xray). The idóneo candidate will be skilled in translating complex business and technical requirements into structured test scenarios, supporting SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Test Case Design & Documentation
- Design, analyze, and document high-quality, detailed (X-ray)
test cases and ensure strong coverage for both manual execution and future automation in project environments.
- Produce step-by-step test case documentation in X-ray format, including T24 navigation paths, user access and role requirements, data setup prerequisites, and environment specifics.
- Create test specifications based on detailed technical analysis of both functional and non-functional requirements (reliability, efficiency, usability, etc.).
- Work with requirements engineers and business stakeholders to capture end-to-end product life cycles and translate them into structured, automatable test scenarios.
- Review and validate existing test cases against current business processes, identifying outdated, duplicated, or missing scenarios and updating the portfolio accordingly.
