Hitachi Energy is looking for a Site Manager to support the successful delivery of high‑voltage substation and power infrastructure projects across Spain and neighbouring regions.

How You'll Make An Impact

-
- Coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day site activities across assigned projects.
- Act as Hitachi Energy’s primary on‑site representative, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors, including electrical and commissioning contractors, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
- Verify completed works and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, and potential issues affecting delivery.
- Provide early warning notifications to the Project Manager regarding schedule impacts, additional costs, risks, and change requirements.




- Support project financial performance through cost monitoring, estimate‑to‑complete (ETC) forecasting, and identification of cost‑saving opportunities.
- Manage monthly subcontractor certifications and support contract administration activities.
- Take ownership of site Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance, working alongside HSE specialists when assigned or independently managing HSE responsibilities where required.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and support successful project handover to customers.
- Produce daily site reports and maintain accurate project records through digital reporting systems and project management tools.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Hitachi Energy standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulations.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
