- Fluor Plant Engineering office is part of the Energy Solutions Sustaining Capital Projects Business Line.
- We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the regional team (Spain) in Home Office location at Tarragona.This position supports on assigned projects through the following Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review mechanical engineering deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Support the development of piping and equipment layouts, ensuring compliance with safety, operability,



and maintainability requirements.
- Perform technical evaluations of vendor proposals and assist in procurement activities for mechanical equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, civil, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases, including resolution of field engineering queries.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and HAZOP sessions as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the regional engineering team.
