The team stands for Quality & Improvement related to Fuel, Hydraulic, Environmental Control System, and Equipment integration on aircraft. The jobholder will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team to cover the integration of mechanical systems for an exciting and challenging new upcoming military program.
- Design & Development: * Concept, definition, and development of design solutions for Mechanical System parts, assemblies, and installations (such as CATIA V5, CSG Full3D) for aircraft derivative programs.
- * Technical Definition & Collaboration: * Establish design principles, key characteristics, interfaces, frontiers, materials,
and detailed manufacturing processes in close collaboration with industrial and production teams up to the final customer.
- * Lifecycle Management: * Support the complete end-to-end (E2E) product lifecycle of the aircraft using modern design processes, methods, and software applications.
- * Inter-departmental Coordination: * Maintain strong ties with other Engineering Design offices (e.g., stress, loads, aerodynamics, structure design, DMU/CAD, materials & processes) to broaden interface design knowledge.
- * Stakeholder Support: * Provide specialized technical knowledge to key stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Quality, Purchasing, Assembly, Chief Engineer, and Airworthiness/Certification.
- Education: * Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related technical discipline.
