Senior Product Expert – Credit Cards

At ING, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Product Expert to join our Cards Team of the Payments Tribe in a squad focused on Credit Cards.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent the “voice of the customer”, have a strong vision on how to serve customers on their payment needs and focus on continuously improving the customer journeys we offer.
- Be responsible for developing, launching and maintaining the Credit card proposition on the market, providing the highest customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to building the commercial plan, upselling and cross‑selling strategy, and ensuring achievement of the KPIs defined in the strategy.
- With knowledge and experience in Cards or Unsecured Lending Products (overdrafts, personal loans…)
- Good understanding of risk management.
- Act as the “Business Guardian” of the product/service, working with Operations, Compliance and Legal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Support the PO to increase efficiency, reduce complexity,



and deliver the best experience at moments of truth linked to payments, and pursue innovative solutions.
- Use analytical skills and proactive thinking to comprehend, define, select and analyze data, yielding insights that enhance decision‑making.
- Translate business needs into requirements for implementation.
- Understand IT framework in ING and be acquainted with technology development.
- Be an expert on the product & service, prioritise value delivered in short cycles, defining an MVP and improving with feedback.
- Support complex programs, set clear roadmaps and solve impediments.
- Be creative, think out of the box, love working in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment with close collaboration daily.
- Develop and maintain a customer engagement strategy focusing on improving the acquisition of transactional accounts.
