We are Applus+ Laboratories, the division of the Applus+ Group that provides testing, certification, and product development engineering services.

In the IT & CYBERSECURITY laboratory, we are accredited to perform a wide range of security evaluations for payment schemes, identification, and IT security.

We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and participate in a wide variety of technical projects, ranging from evaluations following established methodologies and guidelines, to custom ad‑hoc assessments for our clients, as well as contributing to internal R&D; projects focused on new attack techniques, tools, and automation.

Essential job responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge of key customer's technological solutions
- Gain understanding of cybersecurity requirements for products and customer facilities
- Carry out security evaluations in different frameworks, such as LINCE, Common Criteria and SESIP, among others.
- Perform ad-hoc evaluations, subject to customer constraints and needs.




- Work with technology vendors to help meet security certification requirements
- Identify and resolve challenges to ensure certification project success
- Write technical reports and communicate effectively with customers, testing laboratories, and other stakeholders

To be considered, candidates must possess
- Education: Technical background such as Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent degree.
- Coding experience with Python / C / C++
- Documentary experience with Git
- Languages: Spanish and English (at least B2)
- Experience in the same position: 0-2 years
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Self-starter with a passion for professional growth
- Passion for technology and cybersecurity
