We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Individual contributor/No management) to join our Cyber Security Products (CSP) – Data Protection Team in Spain. The portfolio is world‑leading in enterprise and banking security, covering core data protection to secure access at the edge of the network.
Identify, qualify and quantify all opportunities within assigned accounts and/or territory.
Enable partner community to sell Thales Cloud Protection Licensing (CSP) solutions.
Collaborate closely with Presales Engineers, Product Marketing and peer sales teams.
Maintain an accurate record of all sales opportunities throughout the sales process using the CRM system (SFDC).
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
7+ years of sales experience in IT industries, enterprise software companies, with at least 3 years in major account sales and at the regional level in IT security.
~ Channel sales experience in developing and implementing channel strategies.
~ Experience working with system integrators, service providers, large resellers, and network industry professionals in security.
Bachelor degree (B.A./Capable of closing complex deals from opportunity discovery to contract completion.
Knowledge of security technology, enterprise software and hardware IT solutions, cloud, preferably in a security software/solutions environment.
Results oriented and effective in senior‑level customer situations.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic sales environment.
Background in IT security products, data encryption/crypto management and hardware security modules (HSMs) is a plus.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Versátil working hours.
2‑3 days a week working from home.
