As an Android Engineer at Monzo, you will work in a small autonomous product squad with iOS, Backend, User Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, QA Testers, and Data Scientists to build a native mobile app used by more than 11 million people. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience and improving the code quality while moving fast and iterating.
Build polished user experiences in a 100 % Kotlin app that follows MVVM architecture, uses RxJava, Retrofit, Moshi, Dagger, Coroutines, and Room.
• Write unit and UI tests, including Compose screen snapshot tests with Happo and Espresso flows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and the Android discipline to improve processes and the overall codebase.
• You have experience programming in Kotlin.
You have a product mindset and drive data‑informed decisions.
You understand core computer science principles.
Base salary depends on experience + Incentive Awards tied to performance.
