Job Description:
The
Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Mechanical Systems)
position will be
based out of Madrid, Spain.
This is a key role supporting mechanical sourcing across the portfolio of mechanical products within Nextpowers offering.

Job description:
* Support and drive execution of sourcing strategy across categories within mechanical systems including – fasteners, tools and consumables, foundation equipment and consumables, gear boxes, dampers,



field robotics and other mechanical systems as a part of Nextpower’s product portfolio.
* Regional (EU) lead for supplier relationships across categories, collaborating with leadership in the US, India and China to execute specific objectives and activities.
* Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and establish strategic partnerships to ensure a robust supply chain.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing performance to ensure the highest quality standards and delivery timelines.
* Continuously evaluate supplier performance, including cost, quality, engineering support and reliability, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
* Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, cost reduction initiatives, and process improvements.
