For an European organization in Strasbourg, France, we are urgently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on infrastructure experience with OpenShift Container Platform to provide support to the deployment team, participation in troubleshooting sessions, review of infra related documentation.
EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality is required). Work permits ar not provided.
Candidates need to be based in Strasbourg or willing to relocate to Strasbourg. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage applications, Kubernetes resources, and Helm charts within OpenShift environments;
- Configure OpenShift clusters and manage configurations through GitOps practices;
- Perform Unix-based deployment tasks and manage Kubernetes pods, routes, and application sets;




- Automate deployment workflows and platform configurations using Ansible Tower;
- Review and correct contractor-provided configurations to align with company standards;
- Act as a liaison between contractors (e.g., CSP) and the company, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues;
- Maintain and manage YAML configuration files;
- Implement and oversee GitOps workflows to ensure streamlined deployment processes and version control;
- Oversee application deployments using GitOps methodologies and Helm charts;
- Ensure deployment workflows across platforms are reliable, consistent, and efficient;
- Understand needs from different teams (e.g. infrastructure, software teams) and help to define the best practices that will help to reduce the gap between development and operations and improve the efficiency of the software development life cycle;
