What's the Job? As the Head of Groups & Events , you will lead a high-performing commercial team responsible for one of the hotel's largest revenue streams. From defining strategy and maximizing conversion to ensuring flawless event delivery, you will oversee the entire Groups & Events journey while inspiring your teams to deliver exceptional results and unforgettable client experiences.



Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial, you will play a key role in achieving the hotel's commercial objectives.
Your Day-to-Day Lead and inspire the Groups Sales and Events teams to achieve departmental goals and deliver exceptional service.
Execute the hotel's Groups & Events strategy in collaboration with the Director of Commercial and Revenue Management.
Monitor group enquiries, conversion, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
Support complex negotiations, escalated client requests, and high-value group business.
Oversee the seamless handover of confirmed groups from Sales to Events, ensuring flawless execution.
Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and provide guidance to ensure operational excellence.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and lost business to identify new opportunities and improve performance.
