What you'll do Perform detailed structural and structural/thermal analyses and sizing of aerospace structures,



components, and systems
Guide structural optimization and design improvements
Deliver detailed FEM Models used for analysis, from GFEM to detailed analysis
Define sizing loads and load cases required for scoping detailed analysis
Deliver preliminary sizing calculations, hand calculations, and simplified estimates to inform the design
Support ground and flight tests
Deliver detailed technical reports and presentations
Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures
Support the definition and execution of the qualification and certification process.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
5-10 years of experience as an aerospace stress engineer
Experience in Turbomachinery sector
FEM experience, from building models to analysis, postprocessing, and debugging
Experienced with stress
