Insurance Expert – Spain
We are looking for an Insurance Expert to support the team in delivering the best experience to our members. The role helps monitor business performance, manage risks, and collaborate with cross‐functional partners.
Responsibilities
Monitor the business and risks.
Help teammates understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance.
Define the pricing and re‐pricing strategy of products.
Improve margin monitoring.
Collaborate with Key Account Managers to equip them with tools for delivering a superior experience.
Analyze profitability of the portfolio and suggest action points.
Participate in a general insurance community, influencing organization, hiring, and training across multiple countries.
Qualifications
At least 6 years of experience in health insurance.
Fluency in English.
Knowledge of sector trends, pricing/re‐pricing decisions, and market practices.
A quantitative background (statistics, actuarial sciences) combined with experience in insurance products and business.
Ability to navigate and synthesize technical, data, business,



and legal questions related to insurance.
Builder mindset – continuously identifying opportunities to scale and optimize processes and systems.
Willingness to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry and challenge the status quo.
It would be even better if
Fluent in Spanish or willing to learn Spanish.
Experience coordinating with teams based in another country.
Connections and deep understanding of the Spanish health insurance market.
