The Head of Legal is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's legal and regulatory requirements across its operations in France, the UK, Poland, and Spain. This position is hybrid, with 3 days a week in the Barcelona office, and reports to the VP of Finance based in Paris.

Legal Oversight & Compliance

- Provide expert legal advice on employment, commercial, litigation, corporate, and regulatory matters across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with national and international laws, including employment laws, data privacy regulations, and corporate governance.
- Develop and maintain internal legal policies, ensuring they align with best practices and industry standards.
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes, advising leadership on necessary adjustments to policies and operations.

Risk Management & Dispute Resolution

- Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.




- Oversee any legal disputes, investigations, and litigation, working closely with external legal counsel in each jurisdiction where Stuart operates.
- Support internal teams in resolving employment law issues, compliance concerns, and corporate governance matters.

Corporate Governance & Ethics

- Advise on governance matters, ensuring the company adheres to legal and ethical standards.
- Support board and executive leadership with legal insights related to corporate decisions and policies.
- Conduct internal legal audits and implement best practices to strengthen regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to align legal strategies with business needs.
- Communicate legal policies and updates effectively to senior management and employees.
