About the role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the EMI team, supporting Powens' electronic money institution services, including unlimited IBAN accounts, Direct Debit, Pay by Bank, card pay-ins, and instant SEPA pay-outs, all delivered through one API and one dashboard.



You'll work with modern architectures, with a strong emphasis on microservices and hexagonal architecture.

What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software systems.
- Build and improve testing automation to catch regressions before they reach production.
- Write unit and integration tests as a core part of your development process.
- Contribute to portal improvements supporting B2B2B and B2B2C onboarding flows
- Improve monitoring and visibility into transaction errors and bottlenecks using tools like Grafana.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, Tech Lead, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions
- Communicate regularly with the team on roadmap progress and propose technical improvements.
- Analyze requirements and propose system solutions, evaluating different options with their pros and cons.
