What we look for?
We are looking for a Lead Engineer & SRE Engineerto join our team and work on exciting projects for one of our clients in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Set the technical vision for the SRE team, ensuring alignment with overall business and technical strategies.
- Infrastructure Strategy: Define and implement strategies for infrastructure optimization, cost management, and scalability.
- High-Level Incident Management: Provide technical oversight for incidents and follow up actions,
including coordinating response efforts whilst ensuring effective communication with stakeholders via appropriate channels (SNOW, JIRA) etc.
- Platform management: Identify and implement opportunities to improve the platform resilience, reliability and cost profile.
- Process Automation: Identify and lead initiatives to automate operational processes and improve overall efficiency within the cloud environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Security, and Support teams to ensure the Secure Landing Zone meets all requirements and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operations, reliability engineering, and team practices.
Mandatory requirements:
English level: B2 - C1
AWS-focused role: Extensive experience working with AWS environments.
Strong knowledge of AWS Landing Zones (LZ), Direct Connect, AWS Organizations, SCPs (Service Control Policies), and related AWS govern
