Your mission:
Build the team and the culture that lets Didit win. You'll own recruiting end to end — sourcing and closing the best talent in the world, wherever they are — and you'll own how it feels to work here once they arrive: onboarding, internal events, rituals, and the day-to-day culture of a fast-growing startup. This is the role that decides who joins us and why they stay. You'll report directly to the CEO.
What you'll do:
- Own recruiting end to end — define the role with the hiring manager, source actively, screen, coordinate the process, and close the offer. You run the pipeline yourself; you don't hand it to an agency.
- Own culture deliberately — turn how we work into something explicit and repeatable: onboarding that gets people productive in days, rituals that hold a fast-moving team together, and the standards we hire and promote against.
- Organise internal events — offsites, team dinners, demo days, and the moments that make an in-office team actually feel like one. You plan them, budget them, and make them good.
- Support the employee lifecycle — onboarding,
performance cycles, and the people-operations basics (contracts, records, Personio hygiene), working with our finance and legal partners.
- Be the pulse of the team — listen, spot problems early, and bring the founders honest signal about what's working and what isn't.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years in a high-growth startup — hard requirement: you've recruited and built culture inside a company that was scaling fast and changing shape. Big-company HR experience alone is not what we're looking for.
- Closing great people yourself — a track record of full-cycle recruiting where you personally sourced, ran, and closed hires, including hard ones.
- Languages — excellent communication in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Making things happen — events, onboarding, offsites: you organise, you own the details, and it lands.
- Judgement about people — you can tell talent from polish, an
