System Engineer (m/f/d) DNS & Io TMadrid Professional Regular T-Systems Iberiatsi _iberia## About this job### Your Task We are seeking a System Engineer to join the DNS Squad, which consists of 12 team members. This role is based in Madrid and focuses on the resolving DNS platforms that handle requests for mobile, fixed networks, and Io T. You will hold end-to-end responsibility for these platforms, which are critical core components of the German network, and will work closely with suppliers and Dev Ops engineers to design, integrate, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot the resolving DNS platforms throughout their entire lifecycle.#### Responsibilities* Implement and operate physical, virtualized, and containerized system environments, with a specific focus on integrating a new Io T resolving platform in Kubernetes.* Perform regular checks and refinement of automated processes and strategies, including failover, deployment, and disaster recovery, to ensure a highly available and resilient system with minimum recovery time.* Identify, document,



and structure new test use cases.* Develop and optimize scripts using Ansible, Bash, Perl, and Python.* Implement changes in test, reference, and productive systems to enhance system stability or provide new features.* Develop new methods and tools for data analysis and monitoring.* Collaborate closely with the German operations team to streamline processes, enhance software, tools, and system performance, and apply innovative technologies and concepts.### Your Profile We are looking for a System Engineer with specialized expertise in DNS platforms, Kubernetes orchestration, and IP networking to support critical telecommunications infrastructure.#### Must Have Skills* Fundamental knowledge of DNS, including Power DNS, Do H, Do T, and Do Q* Extensive experience working with Kubernetes to orchestrate Cloud Native Network Functions (CNFs)* Proficiency in using and adapting configurations for Kubernetes* Experience with IP network
