Scopely is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our expanding Accounting Finance Team in Barcelona, working on a hybrid basis 3 days a week from the hub.

What You Will Do
This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across all departmental processes.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accounting policies
- Assist with the month‑end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
- Post and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset postings and monthly depreciation
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team on reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
- Provide support during external and internal audits
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business units with financial and accounting insights
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting
- Prior experience in international environments, preferably across multiple entities
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- A team‑oriented mindset with a focus on shared goals
- Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a strong plus

- Experience working in a shared service center or centralized accounting function
