Accountant – Finance Team, Barcelona (Hybrid)

We’re seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Barcelona (hybrid) to bring analytical review related to trade transactions and assure the correct accountancy of all of them.

Responsibilities
- Investigate & understand complex accounting processes and their potential impact on the P&L.;
- Analysis of financial discrepancies related to automatic and manual processes.
- Enhance data analytics to provide greater insights.
- Proactively optimise work papers and processes.
- Review changes in year‑to‑date (YTD) trends and understand variations.
- Detect inconsistencies, assess their impact on EBITDA, and communicate with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Ensure accounting flows are accurate and database integrity is maintained, reviewing consistency reports regularly.
- Understand product flow processes and anticipate potential integration issues.
- Assist stakeholders with accounting matters and provide support for EBITDA follow‑up and new product integration.

Qualifications




- Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in accounting and analysis.
- Analytical mind and ability to work under pressure.
- Good English communication skills and advanced Excel skills are required; Spanish is a plus.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data.
- Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus.
