To strengthen our team in Madrid, we are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer who combines technical expertise, hands-on engineering and architectural thinking to help shape the future of authentication at one of the world's leading chemical companies.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will take ownership of BASF's authenticator ecosystem and play a key role in advancing modern,
secure and scalable authentication services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Own and drive BASF's authenticator ecosystem, including Smartcard Management, Smartcards, Windows Hello for Business and FIDO2
Drive the evolution of phishing-resistant and passwordless authentication as part of BASF's global Identity Security strategy
Define and execute technical roadmaps aligned with Zero Trust principles and long-term security objectives
Influence authentication architecture decisions, technology standards and future platform capabilities while remaining actively involved in engineering and implementation activities
Act as the technical expert for certificate-based authentication, authenticator lifecycle management and modern MFA technologies
Design, implement and continuously improve authentication solutions with a strong focus on security, user experience, scalability, reliability an
